Welcome to the Club… 🏋️

Are you a member of the LGBTQ+ Perth community and interested in learning to lift in a safe, supportive and awesome environment? Then look no further!

At All Strong, we have created the LGBTQ+ Lifting Club for members of the LGBTQ+ community to learn how to lift, meet new friends, and to build confidence in the gym through private gym time open only to LGBTQ+ Lifting Club members.

What is the LGBTQ+ Lifting Club?

There are three components that make up the LGBTQ+ Lifting Club:

  1.  6 week programmes where you can learn how to lift and meet other club members.
  2. 5 hours/ week of lifting club time in our 3rd floor strength and conditioning gym.
  3. A FREE 3 month membership for our 2nd floor gym.

 

How much does it cost?

Thanks to the lovely people at the National Lottery, our LGBTQ+ Lifting Club is completely FREE!

Who is it for?

Our LGBTQ+ Lifting Club is open to anyone living in Perth & Kinross in the LGBTQ+ community who is interested in lifting and fitness. No experience is needed, however we recommend you come along to one of our six week programmes so you can learn the basics! Experienced lifters are also welcome.

Do I have to come along to every session?

Absolutely not! You can just drop into as many sessions as you like. If you only want the 3 month FREE membership then that is totally cool.

 

Can I bring my friends?

You are welcome to come along yourself to any of the sessions, but bringing your pals is also very much encouraged! The more members, the better.

When are the sessions?

Our 6 week programmes run on Monday nights at 6.30 – 7.45 pm.

Our LGBTQ+ Lifting Club Times are:

  • Thursday 2-4pm
  • Friday 5-8pm
  • Saturday 12-2pm

And you can use your membership to access our 2nd Floor Gym Mon-Fri 9am – 8pm and Saturdays 9am – 2pm.

6 Week Programme

We think the coolest thing about the LGBTQ+ Lifting Club is our 6 week programmes! Led by the awesome Mike of Bastion Fitness, our programmes are a laid-back, fun way to get into lifting and meet some of our amazing club members.

A typical session includes:

  • A warm up
  • A 45 minute strength based workout in which you are taught how to lift
  • A short guided relaxation
  • 10 minute informal chat and catch-up

You don’t need to come to every session, although you are welcome to, just drop in to any Monday night sessions when you can!

Time: Monday 6.30 – 7.45pm

Location: 3rd Floor Strength & Conditioning Gym

Lifting Club Time

You can then put what you’ve learned into practice during our LGBTQ+ Lifting Club Time. Every week, we offer three dedicated private gym times when our 3rd Floor gym is open exclusively to our LGBTQ+ Lifting Club.

This means you can practice your new, awesome lifting skills without having to worry about being in a busy gym. Plus, you can workout alongside our other LGBTQ+ Lifting Club Members!

Time: Thursday 2-4pm; Friday 5-8pm; Saturday 12-2pm

Location: 3rd Floor Strength & Conditioning Gym

Put what you’ve learned – or what you already know – into practice during our LGBTQ+ Lifting Club Time. Every week, we have three dedicated private gym times when our 3rd Floor Gym is open only to our LGBTQ+ Lifting Club.

This means you can try out your new awesome lifting skills without having to worry about being in a busy gym. Plus, you can meet other members of our LGBTQ+ Lifting Club and workout together!

Also included is a FREE three month membership for our 2nd Floor Gym. This is great for getting your cardio in and mixing up your workouts!
