Pilates- 15 Minute Mindful Movement Mornings
- A bottle of water- Not a rigorous workout here. But if you’re like me, drinking enough water is a challenging feat. Take some calming breaths, take your time and drink some water before and after your sequence. Don’t rush it, enjoy your hydration, mindfully.
- A mat or carpet- Sure, a mat’s great, but a cushioned carpet can work.
- The right frame of mind: No body has ever finished Yoga or Pilates and thought, I wish I didn’t do that! It feels great! Keep positive and remind yourself, it’s just 15 minutes. Take the time out for yourself- you deserve it!
- A lot of space
- The wrong attitude- Begin this, only when ready- but when you are, commit. Incorporate these brief sequences into your daily schedule- It’s recommended to do exercise such as yoga or Pilates at least 2x a week. The frequency is up to you- but I recommend beginning with baby steps , giving yourself room to progress.
